In Memoriam: Phyllis Awker

On Friday, March 21st, Phyllis Awker peacefully left this broken world to be with her Savior. A faithful follower of Christ and a tireless worker, she was a blessing to our congregation for many years.

This coming Saturday, March 29th, there will be a memorial service with a visitation at 10:00AM, the service itself at 11:00, and a light lunch following. Join us and her family as we celebrate her life. Her published obituary is here.

Christmas Eve!

Tuesday, December 24th, is Christmas Eve, the perfect day for a Christmas Eve service! As is our wont, we start ours at 4:30 with half an hour of music, followed by the traditional Christmas Eve service itself. The half-hour prelude consists of seasonal music performed by a variety of people from the church, and always impresses me with the musical gifts God has given our congregation.
