Holy Week at Randolph Heights

Palm/Passion Sunday, April 5th at 10:30am

We begin with the pomp and circumstance of a parade, welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem. But how quickly things will turn. In the second half of our worship together, we will be hearing a multi-voice reading of the Passion narrative from Mark’s Gospel, along with special musical offerings and images of the Passion from the history of Christian art.

Maundy Thursday, April 9th at 6:30pm

A family-friendly and simple service of worship in the Fellowship Hall. We begin with a soup and bread meal together around the table, and then will enter through prayer and song, scripture and symbol into that night that Jesus and his disciples shared the Passover meal.

 

Good Friday, April 10th

Walking the Way of the Cross

The church will be open for a quiet, prayerful, multi-sensory journey through the events of Good Friday. Drop by and go through at your own pace. Stations will be set up that invite us into reflection and prayer on the passion of Christ.

Youth are encouraged to come, and children are welcome to come with their parents. Drop-ins and newcomers welcome. Please enter the church by the Hamline Ave. doors.

Easter Sunday, April 12th at 10:30am

(Breakfast at 9:30am)

With eyes and mouths open wide, we gather to celebrate the joy and wonder of Christ’ resurrection — “Christ the Lord is risen today! Alleluia!” A pancake breakfast co-hosted by the men of the church and our youth will begin at 9:30am. Donations will go towards this summer’s Youth Mission Trip to Iowa.
